ReChew ("we", "us", or "our") provides the service described in this policy.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data (or similar concepts under applicable data protection laws) processed in connection with ReChew websites, applications, software, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy does not govern personal data processing by third-party applications, products, or services that are not controlled by ReChew.

  • Account information, such as Sign in with Apple identifiers, email address (if provided), display name, locale, and timezone.
  • User content, including links, text, voice transcripts, photos, notes, tags, summaries, review history, and uploaded files.
  • Communications and support information, including feedback, inquiries, and dispute-related submissions.
  • Consent and settings information, including feature preferences and consent scope/version records.

1.2 Automatically Collected Personal Data

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and network information, such as IP address, device model, device identifiers, operating system, app version, and language.
  • Usage and log information, such as accessed features, interaction events, timestamps, crash reports, and diagnostic/performance logs.
  • Security information, such as anti-abuse signals, attestation metadata, and rate-limit records.

1.3 Personal Data from Other Sources

We may receive personal data from:

  • Identity providers and login services (for example Apple) when you choose to sign in through them.
  • Payment and subscription channels (for example App Store billing verification flows).
  • Integration providers that you explicitly connect to the Services.

For clarity, AI-generated outputs may contain errors, and you should independently evaluate output accuracy before relying on it in important scenarios.

3. How We Share Personal Data

We may share personal data in the following circumstances:

3.1 Service Providers

We engage vendors and processors to provide hosting, storage, observability, customer support, security, communications, analytics, and payment-related support. They process personal data only as instructed by us and as necessary to provide their services.

3.2 Corporate Transaction

We may disclose personal data in connection with financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of all or part of our business/assets.

3.3 Legal and Safety Reasons

We are not responsible for, and make no representations regarding, such policies, functionality, or content or any other practices or operations of such third parties.

  • Delete personal data.

5. Your Choices

You may manage certain data and settings in product features where available, including deleting account data, clearing historical content, or changing specific privacy settings.

If you request account deletion in-product, the request enters a pending deletion window (default 7 days, configurable by service policy) to reduce accidental deletion risk. During this window, you may be able to cancel deletion where the feature is available.

After the pending window expires, we perform account-scoped hard deletion through background cleanup workflows, subject to legally required retention and technical backup/consistency windows.

6. Security of Your Personal Data

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss.

No method of internet transmission or storage is absolutely secure or error free. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what Personal Data you send to us via the Services or email. In addition, we are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Services, or third-party websites.

7. How Long We Keep Personal Data

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfill purposes described in this Policy, including legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, and enforcement, etc. If you violate any of our terms and policies, we may keep your Personal Data as necessary to process the violation.

Retention periods vary based on data type, account status, legal obligations, and operational necessity. When data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, or otherwise process it according to applicable law.

For account deletion requests, we keep minimal request status metadata (for example request/execute timestamps and state) as operational/audit records where legally permitted and necessary.

8. Where We Store Your Personal Data

The Personal Data we collect from you may be stored on a server located outside of the country where you live. Laws in those countries may differ from the laws applicable to your country of residence.

At this stage, your personal data is primarily stored and processed in the United States. To facilitate our global operations, ReChew may transfer, store, and your process personal data in other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate infrastructure.

Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Personal Data Relating to Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from such children without legally required authorization. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will take steps to delete it as required by applicable law.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to legal, regulatory, operational, or product changes. Updated versions will be posted with a revised "Last Update" date. Continued use of the Services after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy where permitted by law.
